Located in the northern part of the capital, Eich spans 63.1 hectares. Once an independent municipality and the cradle of Luxembourg's steel industry (hosting the first blast furnace in 1845), it merged with the city in 1920. Today, Eich is a vibrant, deeply multicultural neighborhood. It offers a unique balance between urban community life—centered around Place Dargent—and immediate access to vast nature reserves like the Bambësch forest and Eecherfeld.
